Early Forest Demo Level Concept

 
 

SEED

Seed (prev. Hug the Line) is a reverse tower defense, a flip on a classic strategy subgenre of video game. Rather than set up obstacles (towers) on a playing field to stop or destroy waves of enemies from reaching their destination, your goal is to aid these creatures, called Tali, on their quest to heal the  ravaged, blighted lands of their world.

I was brought onto Seed as a 3D modeler and general artist, though the Mary Gates CoMotion Innovation Scholarship. My work on this project was showcased at the 2018 UW Undergraduate Research Symposium.

The game was demo'd at Geek Girl Con 2017 and Emerald City Comic Con 2018 and it currently in beta.
